[Attention!] Artificial intelligence colonoscopy that provides differentiated medical AI solutions |
The AI Colonoscopy Project that we will introduce this time is a project aimed at improving colonoscopy and patient treatment by utilizing artificial intelligence in the modern medical field. This is a service that provides patients with the results of AI analysis of colonoscopy photos in the form of a report. The developed AI solution is tested and verified in a real colonoscopy environment. Verify the accuracy and stability of the system. Currently, our developer is in the process of publishing a colonoscopy due to the absence of a back-end developer and poor publishing development after transferring the source from a Windows server to a Linux server. We are also publishing pages for skipping and writing reports due to lack of time due to changes in the logic of the findings. Since it is modularized by splitting files and combining them into one, publishing is in progress after understanding the code. |

[IOS] How to automatically reply to texts while driving on iPhone |
The biggest threat to your safety and that of others while driving is using your cell phone. Sending and receiving text messages is especially dangerous. But sometimes you need to let the other person know that you can't reply because you're driving. For times like these, Apple supports an automatic reply function.
To use this function, you must first enable Concentrated Driving Mode automatically in Concentrated Mode. Go to Settings > Concentration Mode > Concentration Driving Mode. When you click on the ‘While Driving’ option, you will see the following options: - Activation : The 'Automatic' option is the default. However, if you always connect to the vehicle, it is a good idea to select ‘When connected to vehicle Bluetooth’. You can also set it to 'Manual' and activate it in Control Center before driving.
- Activate with CarPlay : If you have a vehicle with CarPlay installed, this option is convenient. Whether you are driving or not depends on whether you use CarPlay.
Now you can set what kind of response you want to give while driving. You can decide which message to reply to in the Settings > Focus Mode > Driving > Auto Reply menu. The default value is "I'm driving with Focus turned on. I'll see your message when I get where I'm going." You can choose between None, Recent Contacts, Favorites, and All Contacts for automatic response.

[AI] Lunit “Breast cancer screening AI solution, diagnostic level similar to that of a specialist” |
Results of a study conducted on 552 medical staff were published in the international academic journal 'Radiology' |
Lunit, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 13th that it has confirmed through research that the breast cancer diagnosis ability of 'Lunit Insight MMG', a mammography AI image analysis solution, is at a level similar to that of a specialist.
These research results were published in 'Radiology', an international academic journal published by the Radiological Society of America (RSNA).
A total of 552 doctors, including 315 radiologists and 31 breast clinicians, participated in this study led by Professor Yan Chen's research team at the University of Nottingham in the UK.
Lunit explained that they are a group of experts who individually analyze at least 5,000 mammography images per year.
The research team used 120 difficult diagnosis cases that occurred in the UK's national breast screening program from May 2018 to March 2021 and compared the individual reading results of medical staff with the reading results of Lunit Insight MMG. |

[OTT] Coupang Play, a sports catcher, ‘Disney’ created through moving ‥ Presence growing
Last month, the number of Coupang Play app users reached 6.34 million. Disney Plus also absorbed the number of users through Moving. |
[Financial News] Coupang Play and Disney Plus (+) are increasing their presence in the domestic online video service (OTT) market.
Coupang Play, with its strengths in differentiated sports content, surpassed Tving in terms of monthly active users (MAU) last month, and Disney Plus, which was struggling in Korea, is attracting users with its major new game 'Moving'. Ultimately, it is evaluated that it is important to secure killer content (core content) and make it a hit in the OTT market.
As a result of a sample survey of domestic smartphone users (Android and iOS) by WiseApp·Retail·Goods, an app and retail analysis service, on the 13th, the number of Coupang Play application (app) users last month was calculated to be 6.34 million. Since last May, the number of Coupang Play users has increased rapidly, reaching an all-time high last month. The OTT app with the largest increase in users compared to the same month last year was Coupang Play. Coupang Play's number of users increased by 2.32 million, from 4.02 million in August last year to 6.34 million in August this year.
Sports broadcasting and its own content appear to be attracting attention and recording steady growth. Coupang Play is attracting a large number of sports fans by exclusively broadcasting the K-League and Spanish professional soccer. In addition, it is analyzed that interest in major content such as 'SNL Korea' has increased. |

[Issue] “If you scan carelessly, you will get seriously hurt” Understanding cyber attacks abusing QR codes
The use of QR (Quick-Response) codes has increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Naturally, threat actors are taking advantage of this opportunity and vulnerability to launch attacks.
Endpoint management and security provider Ivanti's QRurb Your Enthusiasm 2021 report also shows an increase in the use of QR codes globally. In a world where contactless transactions are becoming desirable or required, QR codes are a technology that makes life easier. |
However, companies are lagging behind in security related to QR codes. In the Ivanti survey, 83% of respondents said they had used QR codes for financial transactions in the past three months, but most were unaware of the risks of using QR codes. Only 47% of respondents were aware that scanning a QR code can open a URL, and only 37% of respondents were aware that an application can be downloaded.
Throughout the pandemic, consumers have been scanning QR codes at establishments such as retail stores, restaurants and bars, and many want to expand their use as a payment method in the future. At the same time, more people are using unsecured personal devices to connect with others, interact with various cloud-based applications and servers, and stay productive while working remotely, according to the report. Scanning QR codes with mobile devices for routine tasks can put individuals and businesses at risk.
Simple and effective attack According to the report, cyber attackers are taking advantage of security gaps created during the pandemic. In particular, the number of cases of sophisticated attacks targeting mobile devices is increasing. Users are often distracted when using mobile devices, making them more likely to fall victim to attacks. An attacker can easily include a malicious URL containing custom malware in a QR code, which can then be scanned to extract data from the mobile device. Alternatively, you can create a malicious URL that prompts you to enter authentication information as a QR code.
“Due to the nature of QR codes, humans cannot read the content,” said Alex Mosher, CRO at security company Armis. Therefore, the technology of changing the QR code to link to an alternative resource without being detected is a simple and very effective attack method,” he said. According to the report, nearly three-quarters of respondents cannot distinguish between legitimate and malicious QR codes. Additionally, although most people are aware that a URL can be opened with a QR code, there is relatively little awareness of other actions that can be initiated by a QR code.
Mosher said attacks on mobile devices pose a threat to both individuals and companies. He warned, “A successful attack on an employee’s personal mobile device could result in the employee’s personal information being compromised, money being stolen, and even sensitive corporate data being leaked.”

[AI] KT improves ‘customer care’ with ‘AI voicebot’
KT selected as an excellent call center in the Korea Call Center Quality Index for 10 consecutive years Leading change in customer centers through the combination of human consultation and mega-AI |
KT was selected as an excellent call center for 10 consecutive years in the '2023 Korea Call Center Quality Index (KS-CQI)' survey organized by the Korean Standards Association. The Korea Call Center Quality Index is a service quality certification system that measures the quality of consultation at representative call centers in the service industry such as companies and public institutions, selects excellent call centers, and awards certificates. In this survey, KT achieved the feat of being selected as the best company, classified as one of the top 10 best call centers in all industries in both mobile communications and high-speed Internet sectors. KT analyzes these results as a result of the stable establishment of the 'AI Voicebot', which was fully introduced in 2021, allowing counselors to focus on more detailed customer care. In fact, KT, which operates the largest customer center in Korea, began preparations in 2017 and is sequentially upgrading after introducing 'Genie', an AI voicebot that can provide consultation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in April 2021. KT AI Contact Center (AICC) is optimizing the overall work of the customer center based on AI technologies such as voice recognition, voice synthesis, text analysis, and conversation engine. The AI voice bot ‘Genie’ responds quickly and accurately to simple tasks, and for complex tasks, it connects with a professional counselor to resolve customer inconveniences. Voicebot incoming calls have expanded 40 times from 50,000 calls in April 2021 to 2 million calls per month, accounting for 42% of all incoming calls to customer centers, which is the largest in the telecommunications industry. |

[IT] How-To: Guide to getting started with OneNote, the ‘completely free writing app’ |
Note-taking is an age-old way to write and store necessary information. There's nothing better than taking notes for studying, working, or just remembering something important. It also helps you focus on what is most important rather than being distracted by irrelevant information. However, the traditional writing method using pen and paper has limitations. You can't view your handwriting on various devices, and it's too slow compared to typing on a keyboard. That's why a note-taking app emerged. Many people today use note-taking apps. It supports a variety of functions that could not be imagined with traditional writing methods. |
The representative of such note-taking apps is Microsoft’s OneNote. It is easy to use and includes many powerful features. For those new to OneNote, let’s look at its main features. ‘OneNote’, a note-only app developed by Microsoft Simply put, OneNote is a note-only app created by Microsoft. It is one of several apps in Microsoft Office and is also included in the Microsoft 365 suite. However, unlike Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, OneNote can be used for free without a paid subscription. There is no need to pay extra unless you need a large amount of cloud storage space. Even if you subscribe, there are no missing features compared to the download version.
Of course, there are note-taking apps that support more features than OneNote. However, what makes OneNote stand out is that it maintains an exquisite balance between ease of use, functionality, and compatibility for use across multiple devices. As a result, OneNote lacks some of the features that other note apps support, but the features that it supports are easy to find and use. What particularly stands out is the integration with the Outlook email client and OneDrive cloud storage. If you need to take notes during a team meeting or create a list based on email, OneNote is the best note-taking app.
Unlike other note-taking apps, OneNote is compatible with all devices. It can be used via the web on Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac, Android, iOS, and even Chromebooks. Additionally, OneNote's strength is that you can access your files and notes from anywhere. What you write in OneNote is synchronized across all your devices via the cloud, so you can access the data you need right away, no matter where you are in the world. OneNote is basically recommended to be used while connected to the Internet, but it can also be used offline. Additions and modifications are saved on the device and uploaded to the cloud when the device is reconnected to the Internet.
